Exquisite finger picking acoustic guitar. Reminds me of early CSN, which is to say it's excellent. Nice pedal steel guitar fills, very moody, and expressive.. Then, there's this little tinkly sound, is that just a guitar capod up high? Nice effect.

Lead and backing vocals are very strong.

Arrangement and mix are both first class. The mix is well balanced, I can hear each part distinctly and the use of the available sonic space (panning, volume, ambiance)is complete professional quality.

This is top notch stuff that deserves a wide audience! I'd gladly pay the admission. Fantastic!

(Review of "Just The Same")

The hook and lyrics are really honest and alot of people can relate to it.

The guitar playing is brilliant. It is refreshing to listen to a performer from any genre taking the reigns of such songwriters such as John Lennon and Bob Dylan and writting songs that says something other than relationships.

(Review of "Two Hearts Aflame")

Very pretty slide guitar intro, and tasteful riffs throughout. Beautiful chords that you are using on your harmonies on "two hearts aflame." You tell a good story here, with suspense building and the conflict of the situation tangible. I like the metaphor of the high wire -- reminds me of Bono's reference in U2's Acrobat. Vocals were good, very suitable for this style of music.
